Interested in learning how to Knit or Crochet? Want to improve your skills and try new techniques? Our classes and knitalongs are the perfect way to meet your goals. INTRODUCTION TO KNITTING    Level: Beginner    Fee: $45 + supplies

Intro to KnitThis class is for those who have NEVER knit before. In this 3 session introduction to knitting, first-time knitters will learn the long-tail cast-on, the knit and purl stitches, and how to bind off in both. You will make a sampler scarf to practice your stitches and improve your skills.

INTRO TO CROCHET Level: Beginner Fee: $30 + supplies

Intro to crochetIf you’ve ever wanted to learn crochet or want to embellish your knitted projects, this introductory class will give you the skills to accomplish your goals. Learn to crochet a sampler cowl as we introduce you to chain, slip, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and triple crochet stitches.

Finishing / Private Lesson Class      Fee: $30 per hour + supplies billed in 1/2 hour increments

Finishing Finishing classes are available one on one. Bring a project to finish as we help you work through picking up stitches, adding button bands, blocking, & seaming as your pattern requires. insouciantWith a refreshing natural texture (it’s all about the amazing yarn), a flattering-on-everyone silhouette and meticulous details like a rolled neck, exposed raglan seams and side slits, this sweater is among our favorites. Wear it casual or with something dressier, for an easy elegance upgrade. Loose fit. Scoopneck. Short sleeves. Falls just below hip.

SHIBUI MIX 8 KAL      Level: Advanced beginner      Fee: Free with purchase of supplies

Haven

Haven: calm, centered, at ease. Soft, fluid fabric pairs with a contemporary boxy fit for an understated top that’s an indispensable addition to your wardrobe.
Haven is a dolman pullover with side vents, worked flat from the bottom up with 1 strand of  Shibui Cima and 1 strand of Shibui Reed held together. Sleeves are formed by casting on stitches at the armhole. Garter Stitch collar and rolled Stockinette Stitch sleeve edgings are picked up and worked in the round with 2 strands of Cima held together.

MONTEREY TEE KAL      Level: Intermediate      Fee: Free with purchase of supplies

MONTEREY

The Monterey Tee features a beautiful allover twisted-rib lace motif; the simple construction allows you to focus on the rhythmic pattern. Style this top with a simple camisole or layer it over long sleeves for transitional seasons. This tee is worked from the bottom up in pieces and then blocked to allow the openwork to bloom.

SUNSHINE COAST KAL Level: INTERMEDIATE Fee: Free with purchase of supplies

sunshine coastThis pullover is quite simple in appearance, but comes with a few little design details that make it special! The A-line body shape is flattering on many body types. It is intended to fit with ½ to 3 inches of ease at the bust. Knit entirely seamlessly from the top down, it is also quite easy to execute. The side details are formed through basic increases and decreases.

OLAN KAL Level: Advanced beginner Fee: Free with purchase of supplies

plan Olan is an easy garter stitch triangle, shaped with decreases and highlighted with a color-striped border. Slipped stitches create textural stripes that run at right angles to the border. The cushy garter stitch makes this a great piece to wear at your neck or on your shoulders.
