RIASA PULLOVER KAL      Level: Intermediate      Fee: Free with purchase of supplies

Riasa

A lofty yarn equals lofty cables, and the intertwining stitches of this sweater are fun to knit and have a giant impact. Knit from the bottom up, the body is worked seamlessly after joining the asymmetrical hems; sleeves are knit separately and seamed. Michelle is knitting with  Berroco Catena.
Note: Please confirm your needle size with a gauge swatch prior to the first meeting.

  •  Tuesday 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 10/31   11:00 am - 1:00 pm Michelle Hansen

BOUNDARY PULLOVER KAL      Level: Intermediate      Fee: Free with purchase of supplies

RiasaThe mock turtleneck gets a futuristic lift from racing stripes of graphic double rib that delineate the sides and underarms and then slalom around the shoulders. Knit in Arbor, the base fabric of reverse stockinette throws the ribbing into high relief, and tubular edges create a durable and professional finish. When choosing a size, keep in mind that the sleeve caps have an unusual construction that makes the cross-back measurement more important than the bust dimension; you may need to knit a size larger than usual. The shoulders are designed to fit closely while the body of the sweater hangs loose and straight. Kathy is using  Brooklyn Tweed Arbor. Note: Please confirm your needle size with a gauge swatch prior to the first meeting.
  •   Wednesday 10/4, 10/11, 10/18, 10/25   11:00 am - 1:00 pm Kathy Kahle

STONEPOINT PONCHO KAL      Level: Intermediate      Fee: Free with purchase of supplies

RiasaStone Point is knit flat in two identical pieces. Once complete, the front and back are joined at the shoulders using a 3-needle bind off and the neckband is worked in the round. The garment is easily customizable; you may lengthen the piece by working additional repeats of the Flame Chevron Lace. Laurie has chosen The Fibre Co Knightsbridge for her poncho. Note: Please confirm your needle size with a gauge swatch prior to the first meeting.
  •   Thursday 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26  11:00 am - 1:00 pm Laurie Marks

VARNA PULLOVER KAL      Level: Intermediate      Fee: Free with purchase of supplies

RiasaVarna: distinctive and elegant. Lux fabric in Maai and Pebble unites with impeccable tailoring and a modern cropped cut for a contemporary pullover that’s easy to wear. Varna is worked flat from the bottom up to English Tailored shoulders with 1 strand of Shibui Maai and 1 strand of Shibui Pebble held together throughout. Sleeves are worked flat, then set in and seamed. Collar is picked up and worked in the round to form a mock turtleneck. Note: Please confirm your needle size with a gauge swatch prior to the first meeting.
